Recyle Bin Rescue, Recycled Materials Photo Necklace

Love trash to treasure crafting!  Rescued this facial cleansing cloth container from the recycle bin and took the plastic off  to make this cute recycled necklace.

Materials Used to complete this project:

Recycled plastic piece – spray paint – jewelry findings & chain – desired photo – E6000 glue-Mod Podge -bead for embellishment – assorted jewelry making tools

Lets get started:

Gather your materials and set up your work space.  Use your drill to drill a hole on each top corner of the plastic piece.  Spray paint the entire plastic piece front and back. Let dry completely.  Cut your photo to fit inside of your plastic piece and use your glue to adhere. My plastic piece was designed on the package to have a lid you could open to pull out the facial cloth then click it closed.  So this was good to have a type of pocket to insert my photo in, (see photo) But any piece of plastic will do.  Cover the picture with a light coat of Mod Podge.  Assemble your necklace and attach the jump rings to your photo piece and your chain. If desired glue beads or other embellishments to front.   Have Fun!
