We have been saving plastic bottle caps or plastic lids for quite some time. I have a ton of ideas for making art projects with them. My grandsons, Zane and Case spent the afternoon with me so we decided to use some of the caps and lids and plastic things to create some toy trucks.

Case and Wren had fun designing their very own Pet Rocks! Case’s Daddy found us some smooth rocks to use for the Pet Rocks. We used red and pink paint along with google eyes and some pretty flower embellishments and glitter glue. I found the perfect boxes and fill at Walmart for the Pet Rocks
Rainy afternoons are great for crafting especially when you utilize everyday objects to create a masterpiece! My stash of bottle caps along with some plastic frames, thick tacky glue and pretty paper sent my Grandchildren Zane, Alexa and Amya on their way to tapping into their creative side .
